Fire resistance calculation of steel structures in accordance with EN 1993-1-2 and DB-SI (CTE)<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At Jansa Metal, we carry out the fire resistance calculation <\/strong>of steel structures<\/strong>, determining how many minutes each steel element of the structure can withstand <\/strong>under a fire scenario, in accordance with Eurocode EN 1993-1-2<\/strong> and the Basic Document SI of the Spanish Building Code (CTE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the required fire resistance time is defined with the client, we perform the structural recalculation under fire conditions<\/strong>, evaluating self-weight and load-bearing capacity<\/strong> of each element at high temperatures.Based on this data, we determine the exact coating thickness<\/strong> needed for each profile to meet regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, in our workshop, we apply the required intumescent paint<\/mark> to achieve the fire resistance rating demanded by the project<\/strong> (EI30, EI60, EI90, EI120\u2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
