Pour le comprendre objectivement, nous avons analys\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es de l&rsquo;<em>Agence de protection de l&rsquo;environnement (EPA)<\/em> sur les \u00e9missions de CO\u2082 des deux mat\u00e9riaux, et appliqu\u00e9 ces valeurs \u00e0 un cas r\u00e9el : un b\u00e2timent industriel de 600 m\u00b2 avec une distance de transport moyenne de 20 km jusqu&rsquo;au site de construction. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcca <strong>Donn\u00e9es sur les \u00e9missions de base par tonne de mat\u00e9riau<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>B\u00e9ton :<\/strong> 265 kg CO\u2082 \/ tonne<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Acier :<\/strong> 694 kg CO\u2082 \/ tonne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, l&rsquo;acier semble plus polluant. Mais la comparaison change du tout au tout si l&rsquo;on tient compte de la <strong>quantit\u00e9 de mat\u00e9riaux n\u00e9cessaires<\/strong> et du <strong>transport jusqu&rsquo;au <strong>poids structurel plus l\u00e9ger<\/strong> et son <strong>efficacit\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re de transport en<\/strong> font une option <strong>plus durable pour le site dans son ensemble.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans le cas analys\u00e9, <strong>un b\u00e2timent industriel m\u00e9tallique g\u00e9n\u00e8re 72 % de CO\u2082 en moins<\/strong> que son \u00e9quivalent en b\u00e9ton (1 002 kg contre 3 638 kg de CO\u2082).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En outre, l&rsquo;acier offre d&rsquo;autres avantages environnementaux :<\/p>\n\n<ul
